Middle School Assemblies

Kolby King brings fast-paced and interactive assemblies that aim directly at the needs of Jr. High and middle school students. These assemblies focus on the importance of life-choices, also dealing with peer pressure and drug-awareness. Kolby mixes humor and illusions, using volunteers and illustrations to challenge students to resist negative peer pressure and to make choices that will “make” and not “break” their futures.

Assemblies typically last 30-35 minutes but can be lengthened or shortened to better meet your needs.

Principals will often also share specifics that we are able to incorporate into the assemblies. In New Mexico a principal told us that a number of his students were dealing with chewing tobacco, multiple schools have asked us to mention vaping, one school in Arkansas ask Kolby to bring up sexting and an Oklahoma school asked him to specifically include bullying.

Cost: As a non-profit organization, we provide school assemblies free of charge, especially if we are able to schedule other community events in the same area. Contact us if you are interested in having us come to your school and we will contact other schools and community organizations to maximize the benefit of our trip to you. Some schools receive grants which allow them to make a donation to our organization, which is appreciated but not required.
